Shipping And Handling

Orders over £30 we use Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery.
You have to sign for the packet when it arrives.
You can also ask for a different delivery address from the invoice address, if for example you want the order delivered to your work... or a neighbour you know will be home.
We pride ourselves on being very quick to post our orders out.
Unlike some other shops, all our products are in stock, on the shelf, waiting to be posted.

Legal Blurb
When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. All items may be subject to reasonable design variation from the item pictured. Sometimes when we restock an item, there may be a slight design variation. If there is a big difference we will re-photograph the item, if the difference is small, we wont.
If you provide us with an incorrect address, and the order is lost, we will not be responsible for the loss of the order.
Delivery Schedule
See above; 'shipping and handling' for details of our national and international delivery schedules. Your order will be sent within 3 business days of you making it. If there were to be a known delay of longer, for whatever reason, we will email you with the option to cancel your order.
Back Orders
We only display on the website products that we have in stock , now, on the shelf. Sometimes we have a rush on an item, sell out and do not have time to update the website. This doesnt happen often, as we update every day. If your item is sold out, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
Credit card payment and security is presently administered by paypal.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your product from us, you can post it back to us within 7 days of delivery and we will refund your money. Simple as that.

Arka Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any harm or injury caused by any jewellery we supply, whether it is used properly or improperly, nor do we make any claim about the suitability of our products for any particular piercing, usage, or application. All items we supply are to be worn at the own risk of the wearer.
Remember, ear stretching is done at your own risk. Its your body, your choice and your responsibility.
Know your own body, and respond appropriately to how it reacts to a new material.
Please note that we recommend that you remove your jewellery every day. This especially applies to
double flared plugs and tunnels.
The only items we can safely recommend for wearing while sleeping are the soft silicon plugs and tunnels.
Privacy Policy
Arka do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your product from us, you can post it back to us within
7 days
of delivery and we will refund your money. Simple as that. Please however,
read this whole section.
Any goods returned must be in a new and unused condition, that means, still in the sealed bag and unopened.
You are NOT allowed to try an item on and then return it.
Body Jewellery is a personal product, with hygiene and health implications. Some serious diseases can be transmitted by sharing body jewellery, (hepatitus b is an example). For this reason we're not required by law to accept returns, but we will, if the items are still unopened in the sealed bag, and the bag has not been tampered with.
All items are shipped in sealed clear bags, so you can inspect and measure the item before opening it. Please decide whether you want the item before opening the bag. Opening the bag means you have accepted the item.
Please note though, that all returns must be confirmed with Arka-Shop by either phone or e-mail, BEFORE you post them back to us. Items for return should be sent back at the customers expense via First Class Delivery.

It is the customers choice whether they use recorded delivery or standard post to return items, but please bear in mind, all returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us. Please post in a padded envelope.
(we recommend recorded delivery for items worth more than £20) and pay the correct postage or else the items wont get to us..
All products (unless otherwise stated) are guaranteed for 28 days from purchase. This guarantee does not cover accidental damage or damage caused my misuse of an item.
All sizes are subject to reasonable variation, especially the hand carved items and the hand blown glass. Once again we're talking differences of less than a millimeter. An item will not be considered faulty unless the width is more than 0.5mm larger or smaller than that stated.
Also, please note that horn is a natural product and that some slight variance in colour from pure black is normal and not a fault. Horn also has a grain, like wood, which can be grey, white and brown, this is normal and not a fault with the item.
