Naturally Occuring Jewellery Before surgical steel and acrylic, tribals all over the world stretched their ears using 'organic' materials. They carved horns, bones and wood into stretching jewellery. There is also evidence that primitive peoples used naturally occuring items from their environment that had the right shape. Shells, talons and claws were all used.

Genuine Fossilised Shells 38 million years old !
These rare white and earthy coloured shells have a dramatic secret. They flouresce an intense deep swirly purple under Ultra Violet light. It is the most dramatic colour change i've ever seen, and totally natural.
They were found by a fossil hunter on the coast of Hampshire. Perfect for the purist modern primitive, who is just starting to stretch. We dont advise stretching with these, only wear in an healed ear.
3 and 4mm diameter
approx 30-40mm long.
They come with 2 rubber o rings (not pictured) to hold them in place.
