Wooden Flesh Tunnels and Plugs Oak, Walnut, Sono wood, Coco Wood, Iron Wood
Wood is a great jewellery material for stretched lobes, it is very comfortable, lightweight but strong. You should try not to get your wooden jewellery wet, as the grain will swell when it absorbs moisture. So they should be removed when bathing or swimming. Wooden flesh tunnels and plugs are best cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and then dried, or even better cleaned with a bit of tea tree oil on a cloth. Wooden ear stretching jewellery significantly cuts down on the smell that can come with stretched lobes.
A little natural oil (like olive oil) will benefit the wood and prolong the life of the tunnel. We recommend lightly oiling your wooden jewellery before you wear it, and periodically thereafter. A little olive oil will also help when inserting double flared plugs. (Dont use Oil on unhealed stretches).
Remember, this is a natural, organic product, and there is a chance that some individuals will be more sensitive than others to different types of wood. If you show any signs of allergy to a wooden item, take out the jewellery immediately and try another wood or a different material.
