The helix is the prominent, curved outer rim of the outer ear. They can take a while to completely heal but are worth it!
Flat-back labrets are stud earrings which are perfect for helix piercings, especially during the first 3-6 months.
The flat back won't catch on your hair potentially irritating the piercing.
Once healed you can safely wear segment rings, clicker rings or circular barbells and get creative and mix things up.
Choose 1.2mm gauge bars with a length or 6mm or 8mm.
Or 1.2mm rings with a diameter of 6mm, 8mm or 10mm depending on the size of your helix and the look you are going for.
(Some people have their helix pierced at 1.6mm but this is fairly rare)
